However, just like some of the other stages, this one might happen (a.) either at the beginning of the hero’s journey for the threshold has been crossed, or (b.) in the special world, throughout the initiation phase and the road of trials, or (c.) in both places, or (d.) it might not happen at all. It would be rare if it (e.) finally occurred during the return phase (after the return threshold has been crossed), but anything is possible. Identify, explain, and discuss the details of the “Meeting with Mentor” stage of the monomythic journey in Beowulf by Anonymous. Cite passages (use quotations and MLA parenthetical citations with page/line numbers) from both Vogler and Beowulf by Anonymous to fully support your answer.
