ECN-461: Intermediate Microeconomics
Description:
This course is an analysis of the price mechanism and its role in resource allocation and output in terms of efficiency and economic welfare. Topics include consumer choice and demand, utility, theories of production and cost, and market structures. This course builds upon the fundamental principles of microeconomics combined with the tools of mathematical optimization and uses economic theories and models to analyze business scenarios and current events.
