Evolution and monitoring plan: * Mayfield Park is at the centre of the redevelopment of a 24-acre former rail depot site next to Piccadilly Station in Manchester. Mayfield is Manchester’s first public park in 100 years. This zone of green infrastructure will be one of the region’s largest green infrastructure assets. * Students are asked to produce a ‘Monitoring and Evaluation Plan’ for Mayfield that will be used on the effectiveness of Mayfield in tackling urban challenges. * These challenges are flooding, heatwaves, water quality, biodiversity, health/wellbeing, and social cohesion. * For THREE of the challenge areas, prepare a plan of the monitoring and evaluation approach. * The plan needs to be clearly described and information on how data can be captured, stored and shared must also be included. * The plan can include figures, photos, schematics, or sketches. * Report format * Word Limit = 3000
