Answer:
The homepage mockup is for The Happy Appetizer, a fictional company introduced earlier in Activity 2.3. The goal is to redesign their homepage in a way that captures their brand identity and appeals to their audience.
Before beginning, it is important to review all provided resources: the company logo, approved brand photos, and the planning document created in Activity 2.3. Reviewing the original mockup ensures that the new design builds on the existing vision but improves clarity, usability, and aesthetic appeal.
The homepage must be designed in Adobe XD, a tool specifically used for wireframing and prototyping user interfaces. This software allows layout experimentation, image integration, and clickable prototypes for testing design flow.
Key elements required for the mockup include the company logo, branded images, and at least one call to action (CTA) such as “Explore Menu” or “Order Now.” The CTA should be prominent, easy to find, and encourage immediate interaction.
Finally, the homepage design should align with the brand style guide, using consistent fonts, colors, and imagery that represent The Happy Appetizer’s tone—welcoming, vibrant, and food-focused. Relevance and appropriateness are essential; every element on the homepage should contribute to a professional, user-friendly, and engaging design.
