An organizational chart tells you a lot about the structure of an organization and is used as a management tool. Think about your own organization, your department within your organization, or about a prior job you have had if you are not currently working. How is your organization structured? Using the Organizational Charts shown in Chapter 12 of the textbook as examples, create a simple organizational chart for your organization or department. Discuss how your organization is structured, the type of authority in your organization, and how power is distributed. Is your organization hierarchical, flat, or a matrix design?
