I am currently completing my internship at Shands UF health hospital shadowing a MSW Social Worker who works with 18 and up (Adults)
I am working on a learning plan.
this learning plan is 9 total parts, however i am breaking it down , two parts per assignment 
so i wont have to much information/questions on one assignment. ((((( I HAVE THREE JOURNAL ENTRY COMPLETED AT INTERNSHIP IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO REAd) so far, i have done
flowhsheets ( initial assessment when admitted to the hospital and consults ( when clients requesting /help or has social work related
questions and they request you @ Consult. I have learn GOC goal of care, which is a meeting to discuss one’s goal of care and completing
advance directive

Competency 1: Demonstrating Ethical and Professional Behavior : Social workers understand the vaule base of the profession and its
ethical standards, as well as relevant laws and regulations that may impact practice at the micro, mezzo and macro levels. Social workers
understand frameworks of ethical decision-making and how to apply principles of critical thinking to those frameworks in practice, research, and policy arenas.
Practice Behaviors: Activities or Poducts: How will you demonstrate that you are competent in each practice behavior with individuals,
families, groups, organizations, and communities?
1. Make ethical decisions by appying the standard of the NASW Code of Ethics, relevant laws and regulations, models for ethical conduct of
research, and additinal codes of ethics as appropiate to context.
2. Use Reflection and self-regulation to manage personal vaules and maintain professionalism in practice situaions
3. Demonstrate professional demeanor in behavior, appearence; and oral, written, and electronic communication.
4. Use Technology ethically and appropriately to facilitate practice outcomes
5. Use Supervision and consultation to guide professional judgement and behavior.
Competency 2: Engage Diversity and Difference in Practice: Social workers understand how diversity and difference characterize and shape the human experience and are critical to the formation of identiy. The dimensions of diversity are understood as the intersectionality of multiple factors including but not limited to age, class, coloe, culture, disability and ability, ethnicity, gender, gender identity and expression, immigration status, martial status, political ideology, race, religion/spirituality, sex, sexual orientation and tribal sovereign status.
