In the assessment, we are looking for learners to provide high quality answers that address each marking criterion. At MSc level, if a piece of work is to achieve any mark in the Distinction category, it must show evidence of originality and critical thinking. The assignment tests the following two learning outcomes:
. Review, evaluate and integrate theoretical and empirical literature relevant to a clinical psychology topic.
. Critically appraise and reflect on the application of psychological theory, evidence, and/or principles to a specific setting/specialist area.
