Assignment 2 Details:

Aim: The aim of this assessment is to design a data collection instrument that is valid and reliable, one that can be administered online and face-to-face that addresses research objectives defined in the research proposal.

Instructions:

  1. Draw on the academic literature to develop scales
  2. Develop an introduction and information sheet (see sample information sheet) for the questionnaire
  3. Pay attention to the structure, format, and length of the survey
  4. Draw on best-practice guidelines in relation to questionnaire design
  5. Pay attention to ethical standards
  6. Proof-read and grammar check the questionnaire
  7. Pre-test the survey
  8. Peer review the survey
  9. You will be allocated to a group by the lecturer and then asked to peer review make adjustments to the questionnaires
  10. Complete the peer evaluation form
  11. Each individual submits their final questionnaire to Safe Assign
  12. Use survey software (e.g. Qualtrics, Survey Monkey, Lime Survey) to design the questionnaire and ensure a link to the survey is developed to enable distribution by email
  13. Make sure that the questionnaire design allows for the use of visualization tools; visuals should be used to graphically portray the key findings in assignment3.
