Purpose:
The purpose of this assignment is to identify the nursing theoretical framework chosen for the research proposal process required for graduation.
Task(s):
In this assignment you will identify the chosen NURSING theory to support your research idea.
Conduct a research search and locate a minimum of three (3) peer-reviewed, research articles published within the last 5 years which include the selected theory to conduct research similar to your proposed topic. You should use scholarly, peer-reviewed sources to support your writing. Do not include websites, wiki pages, or literature review, synthesis, or meta-analysis articles.
Create an introduction paragraph- Describe the purpose of the assignment and include the key points to be presented.
Introduce the theory and describe the theoretical framework of the nursing theory/model.
Describe the attributes of the theory (use examples of how you see the theory working within your proposed study)
Define nursing’s four metaparadigm concepts and how the theory/model relates to each
Describe the significance of the theory/model to the advancement of nursing practice, nursing research, and nursing education.
Summarize each research study article, explaining the main points provided and why the use of the theory is appropriate.
In your conclusion paragraph, summarize the key points found in the paper.
You should use scholarly, peer-reviewed sources to support your writing. Include a title page and reference page. APA 7th edition formatting for spacing, font type and size (double, NTR, 12). Locate the Formatted Academic Paper for use in completing academic papers.
