Im studying and need help with a Business Law question to help me learn.
This discussion board is open for any questions or comments in a new thread, but please also address the following:
1. Should products be legally allowed to be sold as is without the seller disclosing known defects or problems? Is it more efficient to put the burden on the seller to disclose known problems or to put the burden on the buyer to detect them?
2. Why do we allow some sales to be as is sales, but require others to meet minimum standards? For example, we protect purchasers of automobiles with lemon laws.
