Introduction
When an organization is going through the change process, the culture of the organization often plays a role in how the entire process is conducted. In Beach’s textbook, he discusses how organizational culture is correlated to successful change processes and can also be used to lessen the resistance to change. In this assignment, you will have the opportunity to consider your organization’s culture and complete the culture survey. Based on the results, you will create a profile for your organization’s culture (this can be the same company selected for the CAP project or a different company).
Activity Instructions
For this assignment, complete the following:
Review Chapter 2 in the Beach text that covers Organizational Culture.
Choose the organization in which you work or one that you are familiar with and complete the Organizational Culture Survey in Appendix B.
Refer to the Computation section and Appendix C to derive at the means to develop the organizational culture profile for the business you select.
Create a graphic representation of the organization’s culture profile as an appendix and prepare an analysis paper to expand on each aspect.
