Your task is to create a coherent webpage on a particular topic, with a specific audience, from at least 2 different source publications. You may choose one of the topics/audiences below, or select your own (but must first check with one of the unit convenors whether your choice of topic and audience is acceptable). One of the source publications must have been designed for a different audience to your chosen one, and should contain some textual, numerical and illustrative information that needs to be edited. The other source publication(s) may contain audience-appropriate text/images which don’t need editing but should be incorporated coherently into your webpage.
Your created publication must demonstrate features of a webpage (display, internal/external navigation etc.), but can be submitted in whatever electronic format you are most comfortable with (MS Word, PDF, etc.’). You will need to provide a rationale for the editorial decisions you have made, and a 1-2 page style sheet (see sample supplied) summarising the layout and textual decisions you have implemented. The source texts should be submitted as an appendix to the rationale, and APA referencing should be used for any sources and supporting references used.
