Assessment Description
There are several different types of abuse that can happen to both adults and the elderly. In your career you may see assault, neglect, intimate partner violence, and even financial abuse. Choose one of these types of abuse, provide an example, and describe any cues (i.e., signs) that may be present. Then discuss the role that a nurse plays and the obligation for reporting that type of abuse.
Post three different responses to classmates with types of abuse different from your initial post. Identify one nursing intervention and your rationale for that intervention to address the abuse.
Discussion posts should be at least 200 words, and responses should be 100-150 words.
