This topic will discuss key physiologic processes related to metabolism and nutrition as well as the role nutrition plays in maintaining health and promoting healing. The role of the nurse in monitoring, measuring, and documenting intake and output will be identified. How to plan care for a client who is experiencing alterations in elimination will also be discussed.
Objectives:
