Assessment Description
Using the anatomical landmarks on the chest wall, describe the locations of the aortic, pulmonic, tricuspid, and mitral valves. Describe what causes the sound of S1 and S2. What conditions might produce an extra heart sound (S3 or S4) or murmurs?
Post three different responses to classmates with other possible conditions that could produce the extra heart sounds.
Discussion posts should be at least 200 words and responses should be between 100-150 words.
