Assessment Description
In order to prepare for the first part of the PowerPoint presentation assignment, you will need to create the first draft of your presentation to submit for peer review purposes scheduled in Topic 11. Using the knowledge you have gained from the course, the textbooks, and provided resources, along with your own research, choose a disorder that interests you and create an educational presentation. You must use at least one current evidence-based research article (published within the past 5 years) and professional-level medication information (avoid information written for consumers).
Document sources through on-slide citations and a final slide with a reference list. Sources must be documented using APA formatting guidelines, which can be found in the APA Style Guide, located online in the GCU Student Success Center.
After you have completed your draft and prior to Topic 11, one of your peers will need to complete a review. The peer review assignment submission is not due until Topic 11.
Refer to the resource, “Creating Effective PowerPoint Presentations,” located in the Student Success Center, for additional guidance on completing this assignment in the appropriate style.
