Objectives:
- Examine the contributing factors: age considerations, signs and symptom, and interpersonal challenges related to personality disorders of clusters A, B, and C.
- Utilize the nursing process to develop a client-centered nursing care plan, including client and family education, self-care strategies, and follow-up care, for clients with personality disorders.
- Identify appropriate safety interventions for clients with personality disorders who demonstrate manipulative or dangerous behavior.
- Utilize therapeutic communication to support and interact with clients who are diagnosed with a personality disorder.
