- Apply the principles of evidence-based practice in relationship to nursing care.
- Apply research findings from nursing and other disciplines to educational learning experiences and clinical practice.
- Distinguish between qualitative and quantitative research approaches.
- Formulate clinical questions that will lead to new knowledge or solutions to nursing problems using the PICOT method.
- Apply the basic principles of human subjects’ rights and ethical issues.
- Perform a systematic search for and critical appraisal of the most relevant evidence to ensure best nursing practice.
- Identify national quality health care indicators through informatics.
