For this weeks assignment you will be submitting the official creative project outline.
The outline must provide a clear description of the creative project and must include a discussion of how that project is situated within the discipline. It should include all sections that will be covered in your final paper and all supporting points and their references under each main section.
Please review the attached grading rubric for detailed information on each graded component.
Elements of the assignment are covered in a substantive manner and clearly defined which include:
Project topic
Purpose of the project
Major sections and subsections of the paper
Supporting literature that will be used in each section (provide name of reference and general content that will be used)
Creative project topic: (minimum of 30 pages and 15 references)
Design a program to assess and improve physical fitness and nutrition for residents in an assisted living facility. Assume all are able to walk (with or without assistive devices). This should include a step-by-step plan that could be given to the director of the facility for implementation with the goal of improving balance, strength and endurance in residents and helping them to remain independent and capable of self-care and activities of daily living. Students should identify a facility in their area and use as much of their data (i.e. number of residents, mean age, facilities, budget, etc.) as possible. The physical fitness and nutrition plans should be written in detail for each day for a minimum of one week. Taking into account diseases, mental health and sleep issues, malnutrition, and any other issues that may arise for the elderly is that living condonation.
