Older Adults At times the idea of working with older adults may bring a negative image especially when it comes to the complex care that older adults may require. At one time the care of older adults belonged to families; however, the responsibilities of older adult care have shifted increasingly to more structured care facilities such as assisted living places and nursing homes. When it comes to meeting the needs of older adults in today’s culture and the role of the church, what are your ideas on what seems to be working well in addressing the needs of this group? What ideas do you have to improve what is being offered to this population, especially when it comes to communities of faith? What do you think are the barriers to such suggestions?
