How can you develop inclusion in an online learning environment and what lessons can be learnt for face-to-face teaching?
PDP amended tasks: January 2021
Rationale:
The reason for these amended tasks is in light of the third lockdown in England which started in January 2021. This has resulted in many students engaging in teaching in different ways than were expected, such as starting a new school placement and delivering teaching online.
The PDP tasks have been amended to ensure that there is clarity of what needs to be done between now and the end of the course whilst providing opportunities for students who are currently not on school placement to complete the PDP tasks.
What the trainee needs to do:
It is expected that the trainee will be able to copy the relevant info from the “To” table on page 3 of this document to replace the tasks that are assigned in the PDP.
If the trainee has completed a task already (e.g. the original task 3) they can continue to submit this one and they don’t need to start a new task.
What the personal tutor needs to do:
Be aware of the task changes, and the choices that students have. The marking criteria has not changed.
