Question for my political science class on political identity

I’m stuck on a Political Science question and need an explanation.

This is a discussion question for my class. This questions needs to be answered in 8-12 sentences.
“We’ve now read about how gun ownership, school choice and climate change have become issue-oriented social identities for some people. It sounds like just about ANYTHING is a social identity. But that’s not the case. What issues- especially issues that are current/considered important do you think are NOT social identities in and of themselves? Or at least have not YET become social identities?”
Some examples my classmates used:
-healthcare
-social security
– immigration
-issues concerning foreign affairs
