Examine the main changes in legislation that have occurred since the Childcare Act 1991 was introduced to what is the current legislation in the ECCE Sector.
Outline how the current legislation, policies, practices, and procedures pertaining to ECCE provision are used daily in your setting.
Give examples of where you see these in practice in relation to children, parents, and staff in your setting.
Where do you see children’s rights being respected in the setting?
Identify and discuss any barriers you encountered in applying policies and legislation in the setting.

The Learner is required to reflect on their personal strengths in working with children 

Review how your training has helped you with self-awareness and effective interpersonal skills as a childcare practitioner. e. helped you identify your strengths and weaknesses, helped you identify an area or age group you are particularly good at or with, etc.
Explain how training has helped you identify areas for improvement and areas you like and would like to get more knowledge and experience in.
What have you gained by learning to do an equality audit and making a report on child protection using new forms and records?
What were your strengths in developing activities and carrying out routines? i.e. lunch, stories, outdoor play, tidy up, indoor play, hygiene routine for children, etc?
