Select a small to medium size organization (company). This could be an organization that you used in a previous classwork. (pls choose as Company Duolingo, Inc.)
Outline: Introduction and Overview – Who are they? What do they do, and where do they operate? Who are their customers? Who are the major stakeholders? Explain their mission, values. What is their existing organizational structure? Give reasoning as to why they use that structure.
Analysis: Carryout an internal, and external analysis. Assess the organizations competitive advantage. Identify their strengths and weaknesses. Identify their distinctive (core) competences. Identify potential opportunities and threats. Identify what their competitive advantage is. Additionally use Porters Five Forces Model, PESTEL and SWOT.
Market Opportunities: Outline at two or three new markets that they could move into. These could be geographical or divided by other means. Explain why these markets are desirable, and what the existing situation in the market is. Explain what threats exist in these markets. Explain what the company’s advantage would be in each market.
Strategy: Suggest options of how they could move into the suggested market(s). Give reasoning for each option. Recommend the most suitable option.
