Social Inequality (Prejudice and Discrimination)
we need to speak about Social inequality more, we have recently witnessed numerous events that show and describe the problems that many people of color face in everyday life when it comes to discrimination. A good example is the George Floyd case. Many people believe the outcome of this case was driven by the color of his skin and nothing more. They feel anger towards that injustice. Cases like George Floyds have brought many important questions to light and to the attention of the masses. The Black Lives Matter movement was strengthened by hundreds of thousands voices from this case and we have millions of black African Americans and different ethnicity fighting for the cause.
Group behaviors
Group behavior can have a negative or positive outcome depending on the decisions made by the group or how many people are peered pressured by the group itself. The group affect it acts as a catalyst in whatever the initial intention of the group is. It gives a self-enabling effect to people which can quickly spin out of control in extreme cases. Like what happened in the riots and in the capital lately. Both groups were gathered for a purpose, but the situation quickly escalated to violence, chaos, and even death.
