Supporting At-Risk Youth
· Select four different strategies a community worker could use to support a young person and their family where there is risk of placement breakdown? Explain why and how your chosen strategies are particularly important when working to support a young person’s safety, and placement with family.
Note: This assessment is NOT a response to the case study you responded to in the previous assessment. For this assessment, students are required to write an essay providing a response to one of the above questions.
It is also important to focus on strategies a COMMUNITY WORKER could use. The focus is on the individual worker. The focus is NOT on system level interventions (such as developing work skills programs or restorative justice programs).APA
