On marginal pages 57-58 of Meditation Four, Descartes discusses freedom. He explains that the more inclined he is to a particular choice or decision the more free he is. Provide an explanation of his position. This view of freedom seems to go against our contemporary understanding of freedom. Explain how Descartes’ view of freedom may or may not go against our contemporary understanding of freedom.
