OVERVIEW:
For this week’s assignment, we will tie together our work throughout the course with one final project to create a presentation using a provided scenario that could be shown to various stakeholders. Completing this final assignment will require the creation of a 3-5 slide PPT presentation and a 5-minute presentation.
The purpose of this assignment is to create comprehensive project management tools and reports, including strategic alignment, hybrid frameworks, technology integration, and project closure reports.
INSTRUCTIONS:
Strong learners will review the grading rubric before beginning the project. Click on the assignment title and then scroll down to look for Activity Details.
Using your Project Charter from Module 1, AI Output from Module 3, and / or Executive Sponsor Action Plan from Module 5, create and present a 3-5 slide deck on a project designed to engage your project sponsor. The update should feature a relevant deliverable or phase/project closure so that you can deliver an important message to your sponsor and other stakeholders about the current status of the project.
To complete this work, execute the following steps:
- Your goal is to create a short (no more than five minute) presentation to an Executive on the importance of project management to their success.
- You should refer to one or more of the deliverables you created in the course, such as the Project Charter, AI-generated output, and/or learnings from the case studies.
- Create a 3-5 slide deck
- Your executive who is listening to the presentation should walk away with a good understanding of why project management is important in and organization and how it drives results
