The responsibilities of school/district leaders are numerous and never-ending. Juggling PLC facilitation and SI implementation along with your other job responsibilities

The responsibilities of school/district leaders are numerous and never-ending. Juggling PLC facilitation and SI implementation along with your other job responsibilities can be a challenge. For this discussion, interview another educational leader (outside of your school), asking them how they manage their time related to working with PLCs and implementing SI. Consider the questions below for this discussion: (Interviewee and Leader Candidate) What part of your job responsibilities takes up the most time and/or the hardest one to find time away from it? (Interviewee and Leader Candidate) How are you working PLC’s and SI into your other work tasks? (Interviewee and Leader Candidate) What would you recommend to other leaders about making this work “happen”? (Interviewee and Leader Candidate) What support, scheduling changes, or other revisions at your school or district would make this work easier or have made it easier? (Leader Candidate) What does research tell you about how leaders should accomplish the work of PLCs and SI? For this discussion, follow the format below: What did the person you interviewed tell you about their time management? How does the interview information compare to your thoughts and current time management processes? How do you spend most of your time? Identify the top 2 or 3 “time zappers.” How are you incorporating the ILA implementation work (PLC and SI) into your schedule? Include research/course resources to support your responses.
