This assignment requires you to read the case study: “Axis and Allies Marketing” in the separate PDF document. The document will be found in the Aula page/ Materials/ Assessment.
Write a 2000-word report drawing on appropriate organisational behaviour theory and people management practices which addresses the following issues:
- Analyse the key issues for Axis and Allies Marketing in attracting and retaining employees.
- Evaluate the impact of leadership, organisational structure and culture on the teams that work at Axis and Allies Marketing
- Make 3 recommendations as to how Axis and Allies Marketing can ensure that their people management practices are preparing them for future growth
Plan of Case Study Analysis (and word count guidance)
- Introduction and background (250 words)
 Identify the key problems and issues in the case study.
 Set the scene: background information, relevant facts, and the most important issues
- Analysis and evaluation of the case (1500 words)
 Outline the various pieces of the case study that you are focusing on in relation to points 1 and 2 of the assignment tasks
- Conclusions & Recommendations (250 words)

The use of academic journal articles is a key feature of academic research and practice. The aim of this assignment is to provide leaners with the opportunity to consult academic and other professional journals and then apply this knowledge to events in the business environment (case study).

The assessment must be submitted by 18:00 on 04/12/2025. No paper copies are required.
- Your coursework will be given a zero mark if you do not submit a copy through Turnitin. Please take care to ensure that you have fully submitted your work.
- Submission should be made in the Assignment area of the Aula module page. You can access the submission link through the module web via Aula 4000HRM – Organisational Behaviour – 2526 SEPJAN, then click on the Journey tab, then click on Assignment, then upload via the Turnitin link.
- You must submit an MS Word document – not a PDF.
- All work submitted after the submission deadline without a valid and approved reason (see below) will be given a mark of zero.
- The University wants you to do your best. In analysing the real-life cases, students will reflect on the actions of managers and organisations and the consequences these have for equality, diversity, inclusion and sustainability.
