  • Create a spider chart for teaching preschool children. The spider chart should consist of:

i. Suitable information related to the topic
ii. Relevant hands-on activities to teach about the information
Example:
Topic: Save the energy
Information: Lessen the use of electrical appliances
Activity: Hang the clothes under the sun and let them dry
*You may use any software or do the spider chart manually.
 

  • Choose one activity from the spider chart and prepare a 40-minute lesson plan. The activity must be integrated into any of the following strands from KSPK:

i. Communication Strand (English Language)
ii. Physical Development and Aesthetics
iii. Science and Technology

  • The lesson plan

i. ends at the ‘Differentiation’ (refer to the attached template)
ii. use Humanities Strand and one chosen integrated strand
iii. has TWO (2) learning outcomes (one for Humanities, one for the integrated strand)

  • Complete and submit a written report with the following Table of Contents:

1. Introduction of the Topic
2. The Spider Chart
3. Lesson Plan
4. Benefits of the activity (lesson plan) on children- to support with other sources.
