AIM OF THE DISSERATION IS:

discuss how Serbia has behaved towards Kosava as a colonial power, using Aime Césire’s expression: “draining
of its essence”. Shows that serbia and its strive for serbian nationalism indeed uses the tools of colonialism,
polemical tone, how serbia weaponise victim hood through Western leftists (ie Noam Chomsky, Ellen Woods,
Michael Parenti, framing of Kosova and the NATO intervestion and expressing the Western left of a lack of
empathy and understanding for not siding with Kosova in the face of clear Serbian imperial aggression. one
should distinguish between different camps on the left. Michael Walzer (and the board of Dissent magazine),
André Glucksman and Bernard Henri-Lévy supported Kosova vis-a-vis Serbian aggression. More importantly,
centre-left governments in the USA and the UK delivered and executed the intervention. However, it is pretty
much inferred from these pages that striving for academic nuance and complexity is a way of denying the plight
