2. Part 2 – Photography:
Directions:
Upload your chosen photographs with an explanation of how each one relates to the relevant category. You need to show how you really UNDERSTOOD each category and how you achieved it in your photos!
1. Create a surrealist photomontage in COLOR that has a theme that relates to issues of today. The image must be at least 8 x 11 inches in size and have at least 10 different images taken from different places that create one composition that makes sense and has a theme. The theme can be about anything that you want to talk about. Whether a political statement, a vision of the future, a reflection of the past, etc… BUT YOU MUST FIRST UNDERSTAND WHAT SURREALISM is….(research it!), etc.
• To create the photomontage, use copyright-free images you find on the internet and do it digitally.
• WARNING!!!! WARNING: A PHOTOMONTAGE is not a COLLAGE. THERE IS A DIFFERENCE, while similar—-there is a big difference. You will need to do some reading and research to understand the difference!!!–DO NOT SUBMIT A COLLAGE). Here is an example: https://lennon-art.co.uk/photomontage/
