Instructions
Prepare a 6 to 8-page paper (Citation/Bibliography is not considered as part of the page count) on a power dynamic or workplace (correctional officer in a correctional facility will be the workplace setting) conflict they have experienced and discuss how at least 4 concepts from this course were observed during this experience. Students do not have to identify any individuals in their paper, but instead are encouraged to use fictitious names to protect the identity of the parties involved. Students will write this Final Paper in APA format, cite at least three different sources.
The paper should include the following categories:
What were the conditions/circumstances leading up to the conflict?
Who were the parties involved?
What were the mutual interests of parties involved?
What was the conflict or issue presenting tension between the parties?
What strategy(ies) did each party used to outmaneuver the other party?
What course concepts were employed during this conflict by each to resolve the issue?
How was the conflict resolved?
What did you learn from this experience and how will you apply the lessons moving forward?
The course concepts will be noted in the body of the Final Paper and appropriately cited.
