The aim of the report is not quite correct. The aim should be to propose to the company the type of international assignment most suitable to meet their strategic goal of X… Also to propose a training and development programme to support those employees on the international assignment.
In the introduction, you could dedicate more space to explaining what the company wants to do and where (which will require the use of international assignments). You must specify the home and host countries. You must choose one host country – you are dealing with too many.
In the second section remember that the idea is to make a recommendation to the company – what is the best type of international assignment they can use to support their strategic goal (which you still have to make clear in the introduction). First, introduce the different types of international assignments. Then suggest the one type that best supports the company’s strategy, and justify your recommendation. Once you have made a concrete suggestion. Dedicate a paragraph to discuss the advantages of the suggested international assignment, another one to discuss disadvantages (and group advantages and disadvantages for the organisation and employees clearly), and a third one to discuss implications for HR professionals.
The third section should clearly distinguish the analysis of the cultural differences between the home and host countries from the assignee profile and the training and support plan. Write separate paragraphs for the pre-departure, on-assignments and post-assignment phases. Identify and explain specific activities as taught in class.
