Task
You are required to research and implement a personal project that demonstrates your ability to
carry out a substantial programme of work to an agreed specification, within a given time schedule.
The project will involve (1) the construction or production of an artefact, which is developed in the
context of current research, as determined through the literature survey and the requirements of the
intended users; (2) the writing of a project report describing the field of study, the project objectives,
the literature review, the methodology adopted, the investigation, analysis, design and implementation
of the project artefact (as appropriate), and containing a critical evaluation of both the artefact and the
(your) execution of the project.
The terms of reference for the project, its aims, objectives and final deliverables must be agreed between you and your personal project supervisor, and accepted by the Project Approval Panel.
