Your boss wants to purchase a new web browser application to be distributed to approximately 40 users in the company. Although the vendor says the application has broad operating system support, your boss wants to be sure it will work on the different operating systems running on the company’s user workstations. He wants you to verify compatibility by using evaluation copies of the software without disrupting users or their computers. Due to time, computers availability constrain you planned the demonstration using Cloud Platform Virtual Machines to your boss how the application is working in all three OSs that your company uses.
• Create your personal Cloud Account, Azure, Google, or AWS
• Create 3 Virtual Machines in your chosen Cloud Platform with 3 different operating systems, Windows 10, Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux
• Install a Web Browser software in all three virtual machines, o In Windows 10 – Mozilla Firefox o In Ubuntu Linux – Google Chrome o In Debian Linux – a web browser which is not native to the operating system.
• Demonstrate the functioning of the web browser application in all three operating systems using remote access – login to VM’s located into the cloud platform.
